Chocolate Mixed Berry Cobbler

INGREDIENTS

Mixed Berry Filling

Chocolate Cobbler Topping
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold & cubed 
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS
Mixed Berry Filling
  • Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. In a large mixing bowl toss together all ingredients until well combined.
  • Transfer to a 9-inch deep pie dish & set aside as you prepare the filling.

Chocolate Cobbler Topping
  • In a separate medium mixing bowl stir together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder & salt.
  • Add the butter & work into the flour mixture until a crumbly mixture is formed. 
  • Stir in the cream & mix until dough comes together. Dollop onto the fruit in large biscuit-like clumps.
  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the fruit is bubbly & topping is golden.
  • Let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
